From another angle. It looks so nice on the ceiling we're trying to decide whether to do all of the part above the windows, including the triangles of wall above head height on either end.

One more trying to decide how much to beadboard pic. I think we're going to go with beadboarding everything above the windows. It'll coordinate well with the living room and look very pretty, and with the windows and being open to both the kitchen and the living room it shouldn't seem too closed-in.
